IGN has just posted a list of their favorite community-made maps for Left 4 Dead. We mentioned last week that L4D is about to get an upgrade that will make it easier to find and install this kind of content -- but why wait? Get the jump on your neighbors and be the first to check these out. They also mention l4dmaps.com, which has more than enough fun to fill your weekend.

Also, to make your weekend a complete L4D experience, you can also zombify Steam itself using this new L4D-themed Steam skin created by Ryan Thaut.

A graph was released by valve to show the spawn rates in survivor mode.  Take a look.

 

Now when I look at this graph I can kinda see how it might be accurate.  But it doesn't explain the occrance of double tank spawning or how it seems to get easier or harder depending on how many times you played the map conseculatively.

 

Launched!  Zomgbies.com is now operational!  Why?  FPS gaming is one of our passions and well shooting zombies is just plain fun.

Back when Counter Strike and Day of Defeat were in full swing, there were zombie modifed servers to be found, and boy are they fun to play.   Now we have a game dedicated to the busting open of brain eating brains in Left 4 Dead and it's a GREAT game.  Not only that it has a sequel on the way, it is considerd by many to be the best shooter to come out in recent years.

So we hearby dedicate this site to making the dead... eh deader?  We are not quite sure what the future holds for our community, perhaps league play, expanded functionality, maybe even our own server??.  But in the mean time,  check for our Steam group, look for players wearing the ZOMG! tag when playing, and check in with us here at the site from time to time for updates.
